OUR PROCESS
At jeanztm, each pair is an artisanal statement. We source premium, heavyweight denim, meticulously tailoring it for our signature silhouette. Our process is obsessive: every pair is individually distressed, deconstructed, and repaired by hand, then treated with proprietary washes in our. studio. The result isn't just a pair of jeans—it's wearable art, infused with a rebellious spirit.
At our atelier, the slim fit isn't merely a cut; it’s an architectural foundation for rebellion. We begin with premium, substantial black selvedge denim, rigorously tailoring it into our signature razor-sharp silhouette that contours the leg with exact precision.
But the foundation is just the beginning of our obsessive process. These aren't simply printed patterns; they are re-engineered surfaces. Dozens of striking, azure-blue leather stars are individually hand-cut and painstakingly appliquéd across the denim canvas, creating a tactile, three-dimensional constellation that demands attention.
THE CREATION PROCESS
1. Sourcing the Canvas We do not settle for standard textiles. We begin by sourcing a proprietary, heavyweight black denim—chosen for its rigid structure and deep, midnight saturation. This fabric serves as the uncompromising canvas for our vision, selected specifically to hold its shape while allowing for aggressive modification.
2. The Architectural Cut The fabric is laid out and cut according to our signature slim-fit pattern. This is not mass manufacturing; it is architectural tailoring. We sew the chassis of the jean to contour the leg with exacting precision, creating a silhouette that is razor-sharp yet built for movement.
3. Motif Fabrication While the denim structure is formed, we prepare the embellishments. Sheets of premium azure-blue leather are hand-selected for texture and vibrancy. Our artisans manually cut each star motif, deliberately eschewing laser perfection for a raw, tactile edge that speaks to human touch.
4. The Constellation Appliqué This is the most obsessive phase. The blue stars are individually positioned and sewn onto the denim by hand. We do not use uniform templates; the placement is curated to create a chaotic, cascading visual rhythm. The stitching is reinforced for durability, but the edges are left raw, allowed to fray and evolve with the wearer’s lifestyle.
5. Calculated Destruction Once constructed, the jeans enter the distressing studio. Here, we apply "calculated destruction." An artisan uses specialized tools to manually rupture the knee, creating a blowout that looks authentic and lived-in. We hand-sand specific stress points to introduce subtle highs and lows in the black dye, revealing the grit beneath the luxury.
6. Proprietary Finishing Finally, the garment undergoes a proprietary wash treatment. This serves two purposes: it softens the rigid denim for immediate wearability and locks in the stark contrast between the jet-black base and the electric blue stars. The result is inspected not as clothing, but as a finished piece of wearable art, ready to make its statement.
